Zamalek's playmaker Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek officially joined late on Monday Libyan side Ahly Benghazi on a six-month loan deal.
A year ago, the 33-year-old player signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Whites, joining them from military side Haras El-Hodoud.
After losing hope in receiving his delayed financial dues, the Egyptian international Abdel-Malek boycotted Zamalek's recent trainings and requested to leave.
With Ahly Benghazi, Abdel-Malek will play under the guidance of Egyptian coach Tarek El-Ashry who previously trained him at former club El-Hodoud.
Earlier on Sunday, Zamalek announced the signing of Ismaily former player Omar Gamal to cover the absence of midfield duo Abdel-Malek and Mahmoud Abdel-Razek 'Shikabala' who also asked to depart for financial reasons.
