Two attacks unfolded in Kuwait and France on Friday.

In Kuwait, the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for an attack on a Shia mosque that killed 25 and injured hundreds.

In southeast France, a man was decapitated and several others injured at a gas factory in what President Francois Hollande has called a terrorist attack.
