The Sharjah Gallery at the American University in Cairo is presently hosting an exhibition of final projects by the graduating class in graphic design at the university.

Titled Mebaksel Keda Leih? (Why So Pixelated?), on 8-9 December a panel of advisors was invited to critique the student’s works, as a pedagogical opportunity for students who presented and defended their work.

The exhibition is the result of two semesters of work, the first being theoretical and research based, and the second more practical, overseen by Professor Bahia Shehab who mentored the students while they were completing their final projects tackling a range of social, educational, and cultural issues with design.
