Live Music Festival benefit for the Hope Oasis

Photographs and Edit by Rachel Beth Anderson Music by Zac Taylor, Kris Roche and Asfalt

First series of Live! Music Festival in Cairo.

Five bands from Berklee College of Music in the United States, and five local bands came together on the 3rd of December. The event was organized by Nile Promotions and Event Plus.

Live! Music Festival is all about giving the local youth an opportunity to express themselves creatively while also exposing them to new international music, and bringing to an Egyptian audience an event that they will look forward to again and again.

Held outdoors at the Gezira Youth Centre, all proceeds from the show were donated to the Health and Hope Oasis which works with children in Egypt suffering from cancer.
