Directed by Walid Aouni, the Egyptian Modern Dance Theater Company performed A Sculptor’s Dream, which was inspired by the life and work of iconic Egyptian sculptor Mahmoud Mohktar and spanned the Renaissance in Egypt during the 1920s.
The piece was performed on 27 and 28 January at the Cairo Opera House Grand Hall, with an upcoming performance in Alexandria on 6 and 7 February.
