The 14th Bibliotheca Alexandrina Int'l Summer Festival, which took place between 29 July and 8 Septemberin Alexandria, offered a rich programme for all musical tastes alongside film screenings, and theatre plays.

From the opening act with renowned Lebanese musician Marcel Khalife (29 July) to closing act by Algerian singer Souad Massi (8 September), the festival's line-up included independent rock and fusion bands, jazz, Arabic, folklore and orchestral music.

The events took place across a variety of venues at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, with most of the music programme filling the Bibliotheca's open air plaza with large crowds.
