Described by local mayor Patrick Balkany as "without doubt a deliberate act", a vehicle hit anti-terrorism soldiers in the western Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, injuring six.

Since attacks that took place in the French capital in late 2015, France saw a wave of attacks against security forces. The country has been under a state of emergency since then.
