On Sunday 21 April, a special event commemorated Abdel-Moneim Kamel, dancer, choreographer, director and former Cairo Opera House chairman, who died in February and left behind a strong legacy of artistic involvement.

The evening was directed by Hisham El-Tally, with Erminia Kamel as the artistic director.

A touching compilation of numbers by musicians, soloists, the Cairo Opera Company and the Cairo Opera Ballet Company was an important testimony to the artist who left a major imprint on Egypt's art scene and who left behind generations of dancers filled with a passion for the art form, along with countless artists, who remember long years of dynamic cooperation with him.
