Images of Gameela Ismail's final campaign throughout the election day. Within her voting district, of Qasr el Nil, Ismail stopped in polling centers to greet people and watch for illegal actions inside and around the voting areas.

The experience was both successful and turbulent as she faced multiple situations of verbal confrontation with those accused of vote rigging and bribery. The day changed to night, finally creeping into early morning, as candidates and supporters gathered to patiently wait to hear the initial results from the counting of the ballot boxes. To their disappointment, Gameel was not declared a winner.
