Sunday 16 February saw exhibitions open at two downtown Cairo art galleries just a few metres apart from each other.

Townhouse Gallery for Contemporary Art hosted House of Rare Historic Photographs by Barry Everson, while Mashrabia Gallery hosted Shayma Kamel's solo show Cinderella's Tales.
