INTERVIEW| Egypt mobile wallet market triples since COVID, Axis Pay targets 3 mln users: Axis CEO

Egypt's mobile wallet market has expanded from around 15 million users before the COVID-19 pandemic to about 50 million today, creating substantial room for fintech growth as Axis Pay targets three million customers within the next two to three years, Jacques Marco, founder and CEO of Axis Pay, told Ahram Online in a short interview following a media roundtable organized by the company on Tuesday.
