The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has signed a land use agreement with Orascom Industrial Parks for the development and expansion of 3.3 km² in the Sokhna Industrial Zone, valued at EGP 12.87 billion, according to a release published by the Egyptian Cabinet on Thursday.

Minister of Investment and External Trade Hassan ElKhatib stated Thursday that Polaris International Industrial Parks (PIIP) plans to invest $120 million in a development project spanning 2.6 million m2 in New October City, in collaboration with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
