Institut Français d’Égypte is hosting an event titled ‘Laylat Al-Dikr: Trance and Spirituality in Traditional Egyptian Music’ at their headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday 12 April, the 10th of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan, where a lecture and a performance will be held.
