Digital Content Publisher (Social Media Focus)

Ahram Online is seeking a detail-oriented and visually-driven Digital Content Publisher to join our social media team. This role is crucial for extending our reach and ensuring our news and stories are presented compellingly and accurately across our key platforms: Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for engaging visuals and a foundational understanding of graphic design principles, specifically for social media. This isn't a copywriting role for article descriptions; instead, it focuses on the meticulous preparation and publishing of content, with a strong emphasis on visual aesthetics and platform-specific optimization.

Key Responsibilities:


Social Media Publishing: Accurately share Ahram Online's articles, news stories, and multimedia content across Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram, ensuring all links direct to the correct web pages.

Visual Content Creation:


Design simple, branded Instagram and Facebook cards (static image posts and carousels) incorporating headlines, key facts, or quotes, adhering to established visual guidelines.

Select and optimize compelling images to accompany articles on all three platforms, ensuring correct sizing, cropping, and quality for each.

Curate and organize sets of images into visually appealing photo galleries for stories.

Platform Optimization: Ensure all content is formatted and presented according to the specific requirements and best practices of Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram.

Scheduling & Accuracy: Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts efficiently and meticulously verify all links, images, and embedded text for accuracy before publishing.

Brand Adherence: Strictly maintain Ahram Online's visual brand identity and editorial standards across all published social media content.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:


Strong Visual Acuity & Aesthetic Sense: A proven ability to select, compose, and present engaging imagery and layouts for news content.

Graphic Design Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or basic Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills for creating social media graphics and optimizing images.

Social Media Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the visual requirements, content formats, and publishing mechanisms for Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram.

Exceptional Attention to Detail: Meticulous in verifying all content elements, including links, image quality, and text within graphics, to ensure error-free publication.

Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple content streams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable navigating social media publishing platforms and content management systems.

News Awareness: A general understanding of current events and news value to inform visual content choices.
