Libya signs agreement with Egyptian companies to build 11 new bridges

The Libyan government has signed contracts with Egyptian companies to build 11 new bridges in Derna, Benghazi, and Ajdabiya, according to a statement by the Government of Libya on Monday.

Under the contracts, Egyptian signatories Neom and Wadi Al-Nile companies will construct six new bridges in Derna, two bridges in Ajdabiya, and three bridges in Benghazi.

The infrastructure projects will be executed in partnership with the Reconstruction Committee and Derna Reconstruction Fund.
